HI THERE FRIENDS,

WELL, IT'S NOVEMBER,  OC TOBER IS A LINGERING MEMORY OF LOVELY DAYS, WALKING ALONG THE OXFORD CANAL, PICKING CANAL SIDE CRAB APPLES, BERRIES AND HAWS FOR AUTUMN-INSPIRED PHOTOS TO TREASURE.  DAYS OUT, BUSY DAYS AND ACCEPTING THAT OUR ENTENDING SUMMER IS AMAZING AND WE CAN'T QUITE REALLY BELIEVE THE SUMMER WEATHER IS STILL WITH US.  I HOPE ALL OF YOU ENJOYED OUR LONG LASTING SUMMER. ENJOYING EVERY MOMENT. TREASURING THOSE GOLDEN, GLORIOUS AUTUMN DAYS.  HAPPY OCTOBER AND NOW ITS NOVEMBER AND WE'VE HAD SOME GREAT SUMMER-LIKE DAYS, GLORIOUS AUTUMN TINTED LEAVES, DEEP BLUE SKIES AND THE LINGERING SWEET SMELL OF SUMMER.

THIS WEEKEND, WE'VE REMEMBERED ALL THOSE WHO FELL IN THE T WO GREAT WARS AND ALL OTHER CONFLICTS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.  FOR OUR TOMORROW THEY GAVE THEIR TODAY .  WE WILL REMEMBER THEM - POPPIES FOR EVER -LEST WE FORGET.

AND HEY HO, CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER AND IT WILL BE GREAT xxx

Don't you just love to garden!   Out in the garden for a couple of hours and I forget other cares and worries in the buzz of the hour but I always take a flask of hot tea with me and my Thermos of cold water - you've just got to stay hydrated! xxx

More news to follow on my tomatoes and runner beans and another project,  where I'm growing sweet corn, and that's another story altogether!!!
HERE WE ARE IN JULY AND EVERYTHING'S DOING VERY WELL...
HERE ARE THREE PLANTS - SWEETCORN, GROWN FOR A WATER AID PROJECT, MY ICELANDIC POPPIES AND MY BANK OF CURRY PLANT, A VERY FAVOURITE HERB.  ITS SPICY, HOT AROMA ON A HOT SUMMERS DAY IS WONDERFUL.
Ripening tomatoes, Calendula, Heartsease and herbs plus a growbag full of wild seed seedlings - all growing well at the beginning of August,  The herbs, marigolds and heartsease came from the National Herb Centre at Warmington, Oxfordshire.  Contact them on 01295 690999
